“We Are Photos in God’s Darkroom”

What comes to mind when you think about being a photo in God’s dark room? It made me think that I am continually being developed to one day show who I fully am in HIM.
Perhaps it’s being in God’s “darkroom” that refines, nurtures, and matures us without too much exposure to things we’re not ready to handle or experience.
When we look back on bad decisions we’ve made or childish behaviors we’ve displayed we may not realize that it was “flesh” taking over and not our heavenly Father. Perhaps it’s those times that we came out of HIS “dark room” before it was time. The “light” we were then exposed to nearly ruined us or almost killed some. This is the enemy’s light that has a sole purpose of exposing failures and mistakes with the weight of guilt and regrets in our constant thinking.
But thank God for HIM being the Master Photographer who can take a new picture as often as needed through a lens of ‘grace and mercy’ that is renewed ever day! And know that those times that you felt like you were about to drown; were the times HE was dipping you back and forth in the developing power of HIS Holy Spirit.
As we mature in HIM, we learn to not lose our patience while remaining in HIS “darkroom” perhaps longer then we think we ought. And, it’s those impatience times that our heavenly Father shows us our life photo albums; especially those pictures taken outside of HIS direction.
I don’t know about you, but I’m learning to remain in God’s “darkroom” – knowing that HE has my best interest in mind and the final photo will be unlike any other.

Hallelujah. Father thank You for the dark room!
He’s indeed the BEST developer. 🙂

Will do..thanks for the encouragement.😊
Wow. When you said,
“As we mature in HIM, we learn to not lose our patience while remaining in HIS “darkroom” perhaps longer then we think we ought. ”
That really resonated with me over and over again.
“As we mature in HIM, we learn to not lose our patience”
I’ve struggled with my flesh being impatient. I’ve struggled and submitted, but it was still a struggle. I pray to continue to submit to Him as He continues to direct me. In Jesus’ Name. Praise Him. Amen.
Thanks for joining…and thanks for your comments.😊
