“Whose Net Are You Casting?” (part 1)

Just the other day I had a brief but powerful conversation about nets (yes, nets 😊) which made me remember a few previous postings I made last year regarding nets you may want to look at it. (Feb 1 & 16, 2019)
Well, the LORD continues to amaze me regarding the layers of meanings HE can bring to what we may consider a simple word like “net”.
There are different types of nets used for the different things trying to be captured often aligned with weights that allow you to cast further. But I want to make a distinction between two types of “spiritual” nets. There are nets the LORD has designed for us to cast and there are those the Enemy has designed to snag us.
The enemy’s nets are designed for us to catch “everything” – the good the bad and the ugly – mainly bad and ugly. He lets you capture a few “good” things to lure you in, to let down your guard, but know that his “good” thing is temporary and often is covering the true evil that lies within.
Satan’s nets are aligned with weights that are deceiving, they’re tricky, they look one way but once you get your hand on it and release it – it takes on a heavy weight with the intent of bringing you down. He wants you to drown…remember His intent is to kill and destroy.
You don’t realize that if you grab the enemy’s net – it slowly entangles itself around your hands and wrists – your dreams, your potential, your purpose – not overnight – but often with time- the enemy is patient – he’s waiting for you to cast because if you do – you will go down with his net. Remember his nets are not trying to allow you to cast far out but to go straight down and drown! Wow…
“Father – give me the anointed scissor needed to cut the nets that have me bound. I don’t want to drown- I want to live in YOU!”
Tune in tomorrow to see WHOSE net you really need to cast….

Thank you…don’t forget to read part 2 🙂
Good morning!!! Dr Robin,
Thank you for the distinction between God’s net and the adversaries. This gives me a more deeper understanding and perspective to my life. Now I’ll make it applicable to my life’s journey.
This Post is truly a blessing.
Thank you.
Yes…knowing those “whose” net we’re throwing makes all the difference in the world.
